bio

ariane's background in the arts dates to age eight, when she began writing poetry. convinced by her father to enter a "grown-up" poetry contest he'd found in the newspaper, she won an honorable mention with one of the first poems she ever wrote. she moved on to study creative writing with a poetry focus at uc santa cruz, and earned her b.a. in 2002.

dancing and modeling are her more recent fortes; ariane studied bellydance several years ago, and performs occasionally at private parties, restaurants, and other venues of the sort. she began modeling in spring of 2003, and in only a year and a half, has built up an impressive resume of modeling accomplishments.

ariane's modeling and dance schedule is very flexible; she is available for booking days, evenings, or weekends with sufficient notice. if you are interested in discussing a project, please see the contact page.

hair

ariane generally wears her hair in dreaded or braided extensions. she has a large selection of colors and will change her hair to best suit a specific shoot or performance upon request. her hair services are also available to others; her talents include braids with yarn or synthetic hair extensions, dreadlocks, shaved styles such as mohawks and chelsea girls, and bright, punky dye jobs. she is self-taught and has no formal training in the cosmetology field.

makeup

while ariane can do her own makeup if necessary, a makeup artist is strongly preferred. if a prospective client does not have a reliable one, ariane can refer a number of artists with whom she has worked in the past.
