the flower was on the

lip of its	tongue trying

to say something

something totally

revolutionary,

totally

important,

totally really truly seriously yea.



-roots can get in the way-

(that may be a revelation.  pay attention.)

i swear it.  it had something 

incredibly	important	to say.

just	listen a

little more closely.

mangoes and avocados: 

calm sweet flesh around a large hard stone

 (symbolic of something?  you think?)



there’s the kitty clawing at her paws		plucking and pulling she

loves those sweets but knows: cleaning

yourself up afterwards might

tug your claws right out.

i said they say they’d want me to

wear a hat when i shave my head and i tilted my head

so he could see what they said and he tilted his 

head too so he could see what

his said they’d never let him in their home

without one and so i said

a pity.  

especially with that shade of purple and 

some substantial length now, almost a pomaded purple fan.  a definite pity.
